Melanie Lynn Design was founded in 2007 by jeweler and designer Melanie Greenberg, in partnership with friend Nathan Shulman. Striving for something different they began to explore new technology and materials not often traditionally associated with jewelry, such as felt, acrylic and wood. Much of the current collection deals with geometry and repeating patterns, often inspired by those found in nature . Melanie was first drawn to the infinity of circles while studying metals at the State University of New York at New Paltz, and her art explores the themes of continuity, disruption, and rebirth.
